How to clean acrylic
The most common mistake when cleanning acrylic is using incorrect cleaners. Don't use any chemical that containis ammonia such as Windex or similar products. Use only products which are specifically recommended for cleaning acrylic such as Novus Cleaner or Brillianize and a soft cloth.

Don't use paper towel or dry cloth or your hand to clean your acrylic. The best method is blow the dust or dirt off the surface first, or by using water and a soft cloth to float the dirt off. Next, use a recommended cleaner to complete the job. Brillanize can be used to clean and wipe acrylic and bring back the luster finish. If you deal with more stubborn dirt or grease, a mild solution of dish detergent and warm water may remove it easily without harming the acrylic.
How to stop a crack in acrylic from spreading
Cracks in an acrylic sheet can be HALTED by drilling a small hole of 1/8" diameter at the end of the crack. This will keep your sheet in one-piece while you order a replacement. We can custom cut acrylic to your specifications.
How to remove scratches
Fine scratches can be removed with a mild abrasive polish such as Novus #2, or Novus #3 and cotton balls. Heavier scratches, such that you can feel with your fingernail, will require some extra effort to remove with a bit of sanding and buffing. A series of grits (150,400,600, 800) followed by a buffing wheel and available buffing compound, will restore the luster of your acrylic.
